CBJ Project #5 – “Cast All Your Anxiety On Him”

“Cast All your Anxiety on Him, because He cares for you!

For this page, I used the fishing pole to illustrate “Casting” for 1 Peter 5:7.

Being an Alaskan girl, I grew up around fishing gear and I learned how to cast at a very young age. I would pull back the bail, raise the pole behind me and then cast that lure as far as I could, out into the ocean, to catch the fish of the day.

Isn’t that a great illustration for Casting our anxiety, our cares, our fears and our problems towards God? Knowing that because He cares for us, He will take those difficulties and we don’t have to lug them around with us. But we do have to cast them to God if we want Him to take them.

Linda, thanks for checking the project out. If you are able to print out the download printables, let me know. They work on my computer, but I would love to know if they work on other’s computers.
