“Everyone has their own opinion of holidays, so I refuse to get caught up in the history of Halloween, but instead settle on enjoying little children caught up in their desire for a sugar high in costumes. So while waiting for the little beggars to knock on my door, I challenged myself to come up with an appropriate Bible verse to journal on this fine Halloween night.” ~ Jackie Mattingly

Supplies Needed: Your Bible, I used Gell Highlighters and Watercolor Gell Crayons, a die cut resist, a dobber, and painters tape to assist in securing the die cut.
-
1 ) Position Die Cut Images
-
2 ) Dip your dobber in water and squeeze out until it is only damp
-
3 ) Gently dab on your color
-
4 ) Rinse and squeeze dobber between each color
-
-
-
-
5 ) Remove die cut images.
-
6 ) Highlight Chapter and Verse
-
7 ) These highlights are slightly tacky and that won't go away when dry, but if you buff it lightly with a tissue it does.
-
Admire .. . You could leave it as is.
-
But I never leave good enough alone.
-
8 ) Bright colors pop with a little bit of black outlining.
-
9 ) I only put the black line on the bottom of each line - moving out from the center of the web.
-
10 ) I decided I wanted irredecsent foil "Dew Drops" so I used my Quickie Glue Pen to put tiny dots on the spider web.
-
11 ) After letting the glue dry until it was only slightly tacky I pressed the foil down firmly, dull side down.
-
12 ) Gently pulled the foil back.
-
13 ) Repeatedly press the foil down until there is no longer anywhere that sticks to the foil when you pull it back up.
-
The foil dew drops only catch the light when the light is at "just the right angle"
