Pencils. Pencils, Pencils!
You can draw, color, outline and even blend with these fascinating pieces of colored core (either wax or oil based) encased in wood. Normal school colored pencils work good on bible paper, Twistable Pencils work better, Softer Artist Pencils work best. The “softer” the core, the smoother the color lays down on the paper. The smoother the color, the better it blends. I personally use the PrismaColor Colored Pencils, as I have found they are a quality pencil, not the cheapest, not the most expensive either, and the Koh-I-Noor Woodless Colored Pencils if I don’t need as many colors. – Susan, CBJ

Extra Tip… Be careful when sharpening your quality colored pencils, the sharpener does makes a big difference. For a special article about Pencil Sharpeners Click here
