Lettering Lesson #4 “Faith” Style
This is the CBJ “classroom” where you will come to do your Lettering Lessons.
Day #5 Assignment – Put the word “Faith” or “Faithful” in your Bible. I put “Faithful” on Hebrews 3, because it is used 3 times. You may put the word anywhere you want in your bible. And if you don’t have a journaling bible, write out a bible verse of your choices.
This is the last assignment in this week’s Lettering Class. The weekend will be for Catching Up!! Sunday night we will celebrate a great week of lettering!

Day #1 Watch the video and follow along, doing the assignment with me. It’s an 8 minute video, so the whole assignment will probably take 20 minutes.
I know you are going to enjoy creating words with this lettering style. It’s fun, whimsical and easy.
The “double line” and the “serifs” are characteristic of this style.
I call this style “Breaking the Rules” because of the “don’t line up the letters, use both upper & lower case, make letters different sizes” is what makes this style stand out! Susan
Three Tips:
1. Do not write on a straight line
2. Do not keep the letters the same size.
3. Do not copy each letter from mine, please randomly use different strokes and angles.
Then “hang” your work on the Facebook Class Bulletin Board.
Please share your art and share your heart in our Facebook group at www.facebook.com/groups/CbibleJ/
If you are interested in ordering from Amazon.com, please click on any of these ads to be directed to their site. Any purchases, while there, will give us a small bonus, at no extra cost to you. This will help fund the CBJ ministry here on the web. Thanks ~ Susan
Spent the last hour and a half working on assignments. Still behind, but hope to be caught up soon.
June, I’m thrilled you are over hear hand-lettering! Have you been to the facebook group to see all the lettering happening over there? 25 of us have done 93 assignments! You can post pictures of your pages over there if you would like, or you can text them to me, or you don’t have to, it’s up to you.
See you Sunday at church!
